Andando pela internet, sem querer, acabei me deparando com um artigo mui esclarecedor sobre o Brasil, escrito pelo senhor Abel Aquino. Leiam com atenção e vejam as verdades que ele mostra.

Para uma pessoa observadora é fácil perceber que nosso povo vê os problemas econômicos e políticos do país como problemas, exclusivos, do governo e só Ele pode resolver. Dessa forma, nossas mazelas são heranças acumuladas por sucessivos maus governantes. O povo considera-se inteiramente inocente. O máximo que se admite é a cumplicidade da elite, sempre para o mal, obviamente.

O povo é passivo, vive de esperança; acredita que tudo vai mudar no dia em que tivermos um bom Presidente. Espera e sonha com o surgimento do grande político, do verdadeiro Messias.

Podemos dizer até que, historicamente, somos uma nação essencialmente infantil, desconjuntada e covarde. Essa insegurança gera o medo dos estrangeiros, medo das multinacionais, medo das leis do mercado, medo do imperialismo, medo misturado com ódios e queixas. Na ausência do Estado, a sociedade enrola-se sobre si mesma. O estado é o muro das lamentações, onde desfiamos todas os nossos recalques e neuroses, misturando lágrimas e revoltas, suplicando por um governo decente, magnânimo, capaz de cuidar de nós como bons pais zelam por seus pequenos filhos.

Nossos políticos adoram criar leis protetoras ou pseudoprotetoras do povo, tais como tabelamento de preços, estatuto disso, estatuto daquilo, códigos de defesa desse ou daquele, leis de proteção do operário contra o patrão, do pobre contra o rico, do consumidor contra o comerciante, do negro contra os brancos, mas o povo continua com medo. Os legisladores incansavelmente vão produzindo leis, regulamentos, normas, restrições, órgãos patrulhadores, secretarias fiscalizadoras, e o povo, ainda, continua angustiado; sente-se vítima de tudo e de todos.

Ao longo de nossa história o Estado só foi crescendo, até se tornar monstro imenso e disforme. Seu peso e tamanho passou a oprimir todo mundo. Na tentativa de proteger e zelar por todos, o governo amordaçou, enjaulou o povo, impedindo-o de amadurecer, de criar bom senso e de se tornar adulto.

São milhares de autarquias e órgãos burocráticos que a sociedade ingênua aceita para cuidar de tudo, para se responsabilizar por tudo; órgãos entulhados de funcionários públicos, encastelados na estabilidade perpétua, com mordomias, protegidos por apadrinhamentos e cercados de privilégios. Por fim, essas instituições passam a ter vida própria, leviatãs indomáveis; isolam-se dos que deviam beneficiar e sugam montanhas de dinheiro.

Mesmo assim, é difícil convencer o povo de que esse gigantismo impede o progresso, cria grandes setores fechados e privilegiados, corporativamente avessos a qualquer tipo de mudança que ameace a perpetuação de seus “direitos adquiridos”

Dessa forma o trabalho orgânico fica desestimulado; o empreendimento empresarial fica refém da imensa burocracia, fica atado aos excessos de regulamentações e controles que geram apenas propinas. A energia do progresso dissipa-se, e uma boa parte da população começa a sonhar com a ajudinha do governo, com a renda sem esforço. A sociedade termina metendo-se num beco sem saída, perpetuando a miséria dos que não conseguiram uma teta governamental para mamar.

This site was developed to help residents during their critical care rotation in the surgical ICU at the University of Pennsylvania. This information is for personal study purposes only. Material on this website cannot be distributed, for commercial purposes, without my permission.

Atlas of Urodynamics

Urodynamics is the investigation of the function of the lower urinary tract - the bladder and urethra - using physical measurements such as urine pressure and flow rate as well as clinical assessment. The assessment begins with a medical history and examination, which may for example reveal abnormalities within the lower abdomen or pelvis that are contributing to the lower urinary tract symptoms. It then proceeds to instrumental measurements which provides information about bladder capacity, urine flow rate, the frequency of passage of urine and episodes of incontinence and getting up at night to urinate. The diary can also outline other problems such as excessive fluid intake. The focus of this lavishly illustrated volume is on unique, high quality urodynamic tracings and scans provided by urologists, neurologists, gynecologists and physiatrists. Ignorando o essencial

Há alguns dados históricos elementares sobre o movimento comunista, ignorados pela maioria e mal conhecidos ou bem esquecidos pelas minorias letradas e dirigentes, sem os quais é impossível, literalmente impossível entender o que quer que seja da história recente. Se você procurar se informar a respeito e começar a levar esses dados em conta, verá quanta coisa obscura se esclarece automaticamente, sem necessidade de grande esforço interpretativo.

1. O comunismo foi e é, ao longo da história humana, o único – repito: o único – movimento político organizado em escala mundial, com ramificações e agentes nos lugares mais remotos do planeta, disciplinados e capacitados para entrar em ação de maneira imediata, coordenada e simultânea ao primeiro chamado de seus centros de comando.

2. Embora tendo a seu serviço uma quantidade enorme de organizações e partidos de massa, o comunismo é substancialmente um movimento clandestino, cujo comando e cujos planos de ação devem permanecer invisíveis aos profanos, mesmo nas épocas de legalidade em que várias organizações comunistas atuam publicamente sem sofrer a menor perseguição. O primado da elite clandestina sobre a liderança visível é, pelo menos desde Lênin, uma cláusula pétrea da estratégia comunista. É impossível compreender essa estratégia e as táticas que a implementam levando em conta somente a atuação ostensiva dos líderes comunistas mais visíveis em cada país, sem acesso às discussões internas e às conexões internacionais de cada organização.

3. O comunismo foi e é, em todo o mundo e em todas as épocas, o único movimento político que teve e tem a seu dispor recursos financeiros ilimitados, superiores às maiores fortunas conhecidas no Ocidente e aos orçamentos de muitos governos somados. Suas possibilidades de ação devem ser medidas na escala dos seus recursos.

4. Só uma parcela ínfima da atividade comunista consiste em propaganda doutrinária reconhecível direta ou indiretamente. A parte maior e mais significativa consiste em infiltrar-se e mesclar-se em toda sorte de organizações – partidos políticos (inclusive liberais e conservadores), mídia, sindicatos, empresas estatais e privadas, instituições culturais, educacionais, religiosas e de caridade, Forças Armadas, Maçonaria, a lista não tem fim – de modo a torná-las instrumentos da estratégia comunista e a controlar por meio delas toda a sociedade, fazendo do Partido “um poder onipresente e invisível” (a expressão é de Antonio Gramsci, mas a técnica existia desde muito antes dele). É pueril imaginar que, uma vez inseridos nessas entidades, os comunistas aí se dediquem a doutrinação ou proselitismo, como se fossem pastores protestantes espalhando o Evangelho entre infiéis. A arregimentação de todas as forças para que sirvam à estratégia comunista é um mecanismo tremendamente sutil e complexo, que envolve doses maciças de camuflagem e despistamento, com muitos lances paradoxais pelo caminho.

5. É tolice imaginar o comunismo como uma “doutrina” ou “ideal”, sobretudo quando se entende por isso a pregação aberta da abolição da propriedade privada. O movimento comunista nunca teve nem precisou ter qualquer unidade doutrinária, e já provou mil vezes sua capacidade de adaptar-se taticamente às fórmulas ideológicas mais díspares, de maneira sucessiva ou simultânea, desnorteando por completo o observador leigo (incluo nisto os políticos em geral e a quase totalidade dos intelectuais liberais e conservadores). Campanhas ateísticas as mais truculentas, por exemplo, coexistem pacificamente, no seio do movimento comunista, com o aproveitamento do discurso religioso como meio de atingir o coração das massas. Mutatis mutandis, a exploração dos sentimentos nacionalistas extremados vem lado a lado com o esforço de diluir as soberanias nacionais em unidades maiores, regionais ou mundiais, de modo que, por trás da cena, o movimento comunista se beneficia tanto das resistências patrióticas quanto do poder global em ascensão. A unidade do movimento comunista é de tipo estratégico e organizacional, não ideológico. O comunismo não é um conjunto de teses: é um esquema de poder, o mais vasto, fexível, integrado e eficiente que já existiu. Mesmo o radicalismo islâmico, hoje em rápida expansão, nada poderia sem o apoio da rede mundial de organizações comunistas.

6. Tolice maior ainda é imaginar que a oposição lógico-formal entre os conceitos abstratos de capitalismo e comunismo se traduza, na prática, em conflito mortal entre capitalistas e comunistas. À variedade de diferentes situações locais e temporais corresponde uma infinidade de nuances e transições, com um vasto espaço para os arranjos e cumplicidades mais estranhos em aparência (só em aparência). Ninguém entenderá nada do mundo histórico em que vive hoje se não tiver em conta a longa colaboração entre o movimento comunista e algumas das maiores fortunas do Ocidente, por exemplo Morgan, Rockefeller e Rothschild. Os livros clássicos a respeito são os do economista inglês Anthony Sutton, mas já em 1956 o Comitê Reece da Câmara de Representantes dos EUA levantou provas substanciais de que algumas fundações bilionárias estavam usando seus recursos formidáveis “para destruir ou desacreditar o sistema de livre empresa que lhes deu nascimento”. Essas fundações estão hoje entre os mais robustos pilares de suporte do governo socialista de Barack Hussein Obama.

O desconhecimento ou incompreensão desses fatos entre liberais e conservadores está na raiz de sua incapacidade de opor uma resistência séria à marcha triunfante do comunismo na América Latina. Muitos ainda acreditam, por exemplo, que será uma grande vitória da democracia obrigar as Farc a abandonar a luta armada para transformar-se em partido legal. Não entendem que criar uma força política reconhecida é, no fim das contas, o único objetivo da luta armada – na Colômbia ou em qualquer outro lugar. Guerrilhas não vencem guerras: tudo o que desejam é uma derrota politicamente vantajosa. Por isso, ao mesmo tempo que trocam tiros com as forças do governo, na selva e nas cidades, colocam seus agentes em postos-chave dos partidos esquerdistas legais, de onde clamam contra o derramamento de sangue e apelam dramaticamente ao retorno da legalidade. Fizeram isso no Brasil, fazem agora na Colômbia.

Enquanto os liberais e conservadores não obtiverem uma clara visão de conjunto do fenômeno enormemente complexo do comunismo, enquanto insistirem em se opor somente às facetas mais imediatas e repugnantes desse movimento, se não apenas às doutrinas comunistas consideradas abstratamente, estarão condenados à derrota mesmo quando se julgam vencedores.

O fato de que jamais tenha havido uma internacional anticomunista torna difícil para muitas pessoas obter essa visão de conjunto, que os próprios comunistas obtêm tão facilmente. Mas a ausência de suporte social não pode servir de desculpa para a preguiça intelectual. Há sempre algumas inteligências individuais capazes de raciocinar acima das perspectivas grupais, quando existem, ou sem elas, quando não existem. Nada justifica que essas inteligências permaneçam à margem das discussões públicas, deixando aos ignorantes o monopólio dos microfones. Neste como em todos os demais assuntos humanos, quem não estudou nada está cheio de certezas simplórias e as proclama com um ar de tremenda superioridade, sem perceber o papel ridículo que faz. Quem estudou fica às vezes parecendo maluco ou excêntrico, mas, afinal, para que é que alguém estuda, se não é para ficar sabendo de algo que a maioria não sabe?
